Encap 1.1: Extentions to Encap 1.0

Originally, there was only one very simple Encap package format, which is now called Encap 1.0. However, epkg introduced several extentions to this format that entered general use before the Encap 2.0 Specification was finalized. Packages which use these intermediate extentions to Encap 1.0 are referred to as Encap 1.1 packages.

Encap 1.1 packages have the same format as Encap 1.0 packages, with two small differences:

Entries in encap.exclude files may contain relative paths to files in subdirectories, not just names of files in the same directory.
The package scripts which became part of the Encap 2.0 specification may be present in Encap 1.1 packages.
